Far too often people are coming down here for the weather and the lower cost-of-living, but are also voting for bigger and more government and taxes to support more government regulations and intrusions. They want to get away from where they came from, but they are making Marion County, Florida into an image of the place that they 'escaped' from.

Article IV, Section 4 of the U.S. Constitution clearly commands you in this, when it states:
“The United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a Republican Form of Government, and shall protect each of them against Invasion.”
Sheriff Billy Woods may be a very significant improvement of the past leadership of MCSO, but there are no guarantees as what type of leadership may exist in the future. Supplying the MCSO with assets far in excess of what is truly needed is
a bonafide reason for concern.
We are in very perilous times today, with absolute provable massive 2020 election fraud, which was conducted not soley by the Democrat party but also by 'RINO's'
and the 'deep state' in our Federal government.
One indication that Sheriff Billy Woods is a man of independent character, is the fact that he forbids his deputies from wearing a mask on duty. The masks are actually unhealthy, have no effect on spreading a virus, and are only being used as a tool to train people to comply with mandates and edicts. The mask is a current example of how government can coerce the public. Despite direct criticism of Sheriff Billy Woods, in the local "liberal media rags", the Sheriff is 100% correct on forbidding his deputies from wearing masks. Do expect further draconian rules being lobbied for by the local "liberal media". The COVID vaccine will be lobbied by the media in the same way. The vaccine is a definite danger to all deputies and law enforcement that might be coerced to take it, since they deal with the public. Currently, there's very strong evidence that the vaccine will significantly and adversely affect fertility and also contains dangerous aluminum nano-partials that pass thru the blood-brain barrier,
as proven in prior vaccine tests on animals.
Let the "liberal media pundits" take the vaccine that they love so much.
It's a global population reduction scheme, among other things,
and there are
several 'elitists' who are openly admit these goals.
Sheriff Billy Woods is also a strong advocate of the 2nd Amendment and the right to self-defense. But how we would know that a future
well-funded MCSO would have a sheriff that held the same opinion?
Again, it's a matter of less government is actually the safer alternative.
It's been proven and well-documented, since the 1940's, that high doses of
intravenous Vitamin 'C' will cure influenza, flues, pneumonia, measles, hemorrhagic fever and even Polio.

But the AMA and 'Rockefeller' medicine
will have nothing to do with simple remedies that don't generate a profit.
Note, that if you work for the government and you are given free 'health care', you will be receiving the 'healthcare' that is deemed most profitable by the AMA, which most certainly won't be the best choice for you.
A much better use for the revenues collected by the 1 percent add-on sales tax for Marion County, Florida would be to appropriate the funds toward building monuments to the Confederacy and also mega-flag projects that could adorn all of our roadways in Marion County.
